Welcome to tradesmenup.com, a job board and recruitment platform operated by CareerDean, Inc. dba TradesmenUp (“TradesmenUp", “we", “us", or “our”). By accessing or using our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. OVERVIEW

TradesmenUp connects employers with job seekers in the skilled trades, construction, mechanical, and related industries. The Platform provides tools for posting jobs, reviewing resumes, applying for positions, and communicating with candidates or employers.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You may use the Platform only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are legally authorized to work or hire in your jurisdiction
  • You are using the Platform for lawful purposes

By using TradesmenUp, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Platform. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

A. For Job Seekers:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile, resume, and job applications.
  • You must not include false, misleading, or illegal content.
  • You must not use TradesmenUp to solicit or promote services unrelated to employment.

B. For Employers:

  • You are responsible for ensuring job postings are accurate, non-discriminatory, and comply with applicable labor laws.
  • You agree not to post jobs that involve multi-level marketing, scams, or misleading compensation structures.
  • You must not misuse candidate information for purposes outside recruitment.

5. LICENSE AND USE OF CONTENT

When you submit content to the Platform (such as resumes, job ads, or messages), you grant TradesmenUp a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display that content to operate and improve the Platform.

You retain ownership of your content. We will not sell your personal data. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform
  • Attempt to bypass our security measures or access non-public areas
  • Post content that is unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, or offensive
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

TradesmenUp reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms.

7. FEES AND PAYMENTS

Employers may be charged fees to post jobs or access additional features. All payments are processed through secure third-party vendors. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

8. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. TradesmenUp does not control or endorse these services and is not responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Platform—including trademarks, text, graphics, and software—is owned by or licensed to TradesmenUp and protected under intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee:

  • That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • That jobs or candidates will meet your expectations
  • The truthfulness or reliability of user-submitted content

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradesmenUp and its affiliates will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Claims arising from your use or inability to use the Platform


12. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold TradesmenUp, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.


13. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.

15. MODIFICATIONS TO THESE TERMS

TradesmenUp may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the new Terms.
